Low budget cosplay enthusiast from Finland.
I'm not the best cosplayer out there because my skills at sewing are very limited, but I'm not the crappiest either and that's good enough for me.
My first cosplay was Kuroro from Hunter x Hunter at Tracon III, Tampere, Finland. (16.2.2008)
It brings back memories, but oh how happy I am that I have improved since my first cosplay. Phew!

Hey!
I've been really busy lately, I'm trying to finish all the deadlines for essays and study diaries, but I also have a lot of stress because I haven't found a job and I need to register my studies too so I can move on from bachelor to master program. Ugh, I also got a letter from army which I need to figure out what to do with. (Here it's compulsory for all the men to go to army or civil service for some time, unless you're excused/released from the obligation.)
But soon it's Vappu/May 1st/Walpurgisnacht so I can just hang out with friends, though they say it's going to rain, fail. OTL

Wow, best of luck with all the stress and deadlines! I hope you can find a way to dodge that letter. I wasn't aware your country did that; that's interesting. Here, nobody's required to sign up; a lot of the people who do sign up these days do it for the overstated benefits and free college.
Lately I've been stumbling around, looking for another place to live before I lose my mind here, haha. I've pretty much given up on college for now, but I'm not sure I could take another six months in retail either. It's very soul- and spirit-crushing stuff. I will likely be moving to Kansas with some colleagues before the end of summer; it's a mixed bag, but I'll take it over living with my family for another year! I'm looking forward to the change!
I also picked up my sketchbook and pencils and started drawing again recently. It's good to be creative again.

Yeah, I can always try to postpone it, but I don't know, I might have the doctor to write them a note to "release" me from the duty, because, ehh. 
Under different circumstances I would definitely do it since we're a small country right next to Russia, but if a war broke out, it wouldn't matter if I had the mental-health-jeopardizing training or not. *bleak, so bleak*
Ohh I bet a change is great for you, hang in there! And you have more time to figure out what you want. You know, learning never stops, no matter where you are haha. That's nice to hear, sketching is a form of relaxation for me.
I'm having a job interview next week so I'm seeing some light at the end of the tunnel on how I will get money during summer, hope it goes well...! I'm also going to have nice breaks between studying every now and there to watch Finland's team playing at the Ice Hockey World Championships. (It's pretty much the only sport I watch from TV LOL)
